SHIPPING POLICY

Processing Time

Makamae Designs is a small, independently-run business. All orders are carefully handcrafted and packaged by the owner. Processing times vary depending on the product:

  • Ready-Made Items: Orders will be shipped within 3-5 business days after the order is placed.
  • Made-to-Order Items: Custom and made-to-order pieces require 1-3 weeks for creation before shipment.

Product listings will indicate whether an item is ready-made or made-to-order. During busy periods or holidays, processing times may be extended. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship only within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Shipping Methods and Timeframes

We ship from Kahului, Hawaii. Shipping times are estimates only and begin after your order has been processed:

  • Domestic (US Mainland): 5-10 business days after processing
  • Hawaii: 3-7 business days after processing
  • Alaska: 7-14 business days after processing

Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected shipping method.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can monitor your package's journey.

Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, natural disasters, or other events outside our control. All delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Once your package is transferred to the shipping carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders. If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at aloha.makamaedesigns@gmail.com and we will do our best to assist you with filing a claim with the carrier.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Address changes may not be possible once an order has been processed.
